pretty awesome if I do say so myself, and considering it's a very early build, it looks fantastic, also worth watching the whole thing.
Now call me completely uninformed or not "in-the-know" but this looks and sounds a lot like Gears of War, except with less gunplay and more melee. The only thing that piqued my interest was all the finishing moves. The animation (minus the finishing cinematics) seems really... idk, the word I'm looking for... clunky maybe? I dunno, it just seems very off. And that gun pretty much sucked. Seemed like he'd be better off with two chainsaw-swords.

Though if this footage is from a build as early as it sounds, it's understandable that I would be underwhelmed, so I hope it lives up to whatever hype you fanboys generate.
It did have a very Gears of War feel to it. I hope they call it something other than "Space Marine" though.
is this video really leaked? i don't believe it.

it was removed off of youtube twice in the process of 5 minutes due to a copyright claim by THQ

Although I've never played Fire Warrior, I don't really think fps really suits W40k too well. Being based on a tabletop game really only lends itself to either a rts or an rpg imo. The video was meh, I don't care for that type of gameplay at all.

Well, here's the thing.
This video game will not probably be faithful to the actual table top game, but rather the fluff*.

And RTSes cant portray the AWESOMENESS of Fluff* space marines.

*Fluff: Term meaning any suplemental information included in codices that do not pertain to gameplay mechanics but rather Plot and lore.
doesnt look to good, warhammer wasnt about one man vs the world last time i checked.

like we dont have enough super space marine games, gimme swbf with w40k and ill be happy.

Well, the fluff of WH40K tell scenes of Space Marines that show say....    An entire platoon of Space Marines taking on a task that would take several companies of Imperial Guard to do, and only taking perhaps 5-10 casualties.
I thought this thread was going to be about the tabletop game and was very excited. Not sure if I'm disappoint or not.
So, since this was announced for PC, let's move this to the Big Boys because you're crazy if you buy a Warhammer game on anything that isn't a PC.

Or a table.
