I can see Caff jizzing himself when he reads this.

I own the original disk & box...

But anything that gets more people to play it is good
Nice! Finally going to sit down and play it Smile
Actually, now that I've looked a bit more, there's a TON of free crap on Gametap

Physchonauts, Hitman 1 and 2, Tomb Raider Legend, Thief, and some random crappy ones.
a bunch of the old beatemups are free as well, and bubble bobble is a must, and captain commando and elevator action.
Only problem is that you can't mod gametap games, and the unofficial patches and restorations of the Fallout games are pretty good.
Honestly I would rather torrent, to avoid the whole Game-tap thing.

It's what I did when they started giving away Farcry for free but with ads, I just used that as an excuse to torrent it.  Honestly, I'm usually not for piracy at all unless it's an old game or a game belonging to a company that no longer exists, or they start giving it away for free somewhere else legally.
Gametap has a lot of stuff that's nice, and it's often more convenient then trying to torrent some of the stuff on there.  The main problem I have is they don't support shit.  Their setup doesn't support my PS2 controller adapter and their explanation was "we don't know why and we don't care".  And I was trying to play Tomb Raider Legend off it for free, but then it would just constantly crash after the third level, and there is NO WAY to fix a game that's bugged over their service.

If they ever got major suppport from another developer (it's largely SNK/Sega/Eidos/Codemasters right now) I would have actually considered paying for the thing too.

Black Isle studios does not though, and they were the ones who actually developed fallout.  Interplay was just the publisher a long while back.  And interplay is so off-the-radar these days that it might as well not exist, they are just waiting to be consolodated into a larger company at this point before they go bankrupt.  When was the last time you played a game from Interplay?

Shame, interplay did so many of the classics.

Ya really, it's hard not to act like a whore for this site when they are offering really good games for super cheap.  And they got no DRM either.  I really want them to stay in business and hopefully get some other games I wouldn't mind playing again like MechWarrior.
