Brand new MMO from Bioware and LucasArts. Basicly set 300 years after the events of KOTOR II, but still 3500 years before the movies. Two sides are the Republic and Sith with other classes within them. I know people are like "Force Powers, yes please", but after SWG I found that being a guy with a gun in the SW universe can be just as fun if not funner than a jedi.

Apparently they are going for some unique visuals rather than some plain realistic graphics like SWG was, but we'll see more on that here soon I'm sure.

Yeah two problems.
1) Bioware isn't the developer. Or rather, it's a wholly new Bioware studio setup in Texas (the heart of SoE country) and I assume they will have little to do with the development.
2) It's an MMO. And I've never seen such a thing outside of Planetside that has anything resembling interesting gameplay.
I'm not interesting in seeing 5000 Jedi running around ganking each other. Pass.

Thats why I liked the "original" star wars galaxies. You had to work your ass off to be a jedi and once you did you were targetted by all bounty hunters. And if you died as a jedi before reaching a specific level you had to start over with a new jedi. Controlled the jedi population considerably.
Too bad the rest of the game was boring.

Thats actually much better sounding, but Im not sure how you could balance in Hutts/Outlaws as they dont have any formal organization. Im sure you could make some shit up if you wanted to.
