Oh I agree it must die, its just hilarious to watch everything touted as such fail miserably, sort of like how some MP3 players touted themselves as 'iPod Killers' only to fail in a Hindenburg like fashion.

I remember Resistance 1 and Killzone, especially Killzone being hyped a shit ton, then turning out to be a general yawn-fest.

I have a beta key, but the internet at work is down atm, which is where the PS3 that I play is. so I haven't been able to try it yet.

The first one didn't really suck. It was pretty fun. Especially the co-op. I don't think it was touted as a halo killer either. Now Killzone...that's a different story..that was a big hype train that led to an overall decent game, but nothing big. Then again I was never impressed by Halo...

By the way..I saw someone in my hall playing the World at War beta on his 360 and it's looking pretty good. Left me shocked.

yea I liked R1 and KZ was some of the best clan play Ive ever had. Not saying it was best game evar but still worth a try imo
