Yea..so how do I get myself registered and on the leaderboards. I've nearly beaten the entire game, but everytime I submit my scores I never see my name on the boards. What am I supposed to do?
Score higher?
As long as you submit at least one score you'll be eligible for the drawing. You should be fine.
I have the same problem. I've submitted at least six scores, and I have yet to find my name on the leaderboards. With this and the first game being hacked so easily, their big fancy contest has gone to shit really fast.

Well I was led to believe that all I had to do was beat "stage 1" what is stage 1? The first 10 levels? or the first level? Do I have to beat it all the way through without dying once? It wasn't specified. I got a pretty damn high score. If only I could remember it.
Stage 1 is stage 1.  I just beat the first stage, then after going to the second stage killed myself and submitted the score.  And for some reason this put me in 6th place?  I dunno, try that and see if it gets you on there.  It should take you to the high scores page as soon as you submit too.

However I am sure the thing is broken as fuck too, coz' I scored stupidly low when it put me in that spot, and then went back and scored way higher and it didn't change.  Considering it doesn't even display the scores and the game is stupid as hell, they probably just put you in a random rank too.
All moot, though, as it's a random drawing.  As long as you get on the board.

Also, wedge, didn't you win round one?  What'a'gonna'do with the 300 bucks?

Yeah, I think a lot of people must be having trouble getting on the board though, there's only 191 people on when I tested it.

And I'll be paying bills with the money (which may or may not include L4D on my credit card as a result... c.c)

Come on.  You can't use prize money to pay bills.  Buy something extravagant and awesome.

I'll assume you've emailed dtoid about it? Wink

It is a shame the contest isn't nearly as grand as they'd hoped, but I think given the circumstances they've recovered as best as they can.
Well I finally showed up on the leaderboard after my fifth attempt.  For some reason I'm number 67.Â
