I won't lie, I freaking loved the first Tales of Symphonia. Has anyone tried out this one? I wanna know if it's ok.
I too loved the 1st one. What system is this one on? I don't keep up with console news much anymore Sad
Symphonia was the first Tales I played, and I really liked it.  Still working on Tales of Vesperia at the moment on the 360, but I'll be picking this up for the Wii when I'm done with that.
I think I spent a straight week during the summer finishing the original Tales of Symphonia, I loved that game.
Tales of Vesperia is byfar the best one so far, although the belius boss fight is a bitch, I probably won't play this unless it comes in trade at work
I want to play this one with friends, so I won't play until winter.

I hope multiplayer has gotten a bit better than in the first one, since I prefer playing games with friends, not alone.
I remember having fun abusing of Raine's ExSkills, and my friend liked to run in circles with Kratos because his hair looked funny.

I don't really trust IGN that much anymore. >_>

I trust public opinion.

Also, they've all got completely different opinions. I mean, for gods sake they gave GTA IV and 10 it didn't deserve.

Yeah try finding out what actual fans of the game think.  A lot of niche games (yes Tales is very much a niche series) usually get mediocre reviews from most of the gaming press.  I mean, I can't look at normal reviews to get a real idea of how good a Koei Warriors game is, since those all get passed off as the same rubbish by every major reviewer.

Now that being said, I wouldn't trust ANYTHING that comes out on the Wii, since developers seem intent on dumping second rate products off on it all the time... and according to it's listing in the Tales series it's a "secondary" title and not a main series title, so it's probably a bit of a budgetware game...

Only problem:

The only places where fans give there opinions in mass quantities are influenced by an incurable disease called, "fanboyism"(fan-boi-is-em). It starts by eating away at the brain, taking down the three most important sections. The ability-to-take-one's-pinky-off-shift section, the common sense section, and the proper grammar spelling and punctuation section. The disease attacks in numbers and results in massive face-pounding of the keyboard, broken caps-lock, and denying the existence of other video-game systems.

Symptoms include: Shouting, not giving facts when reasoning, talking in capital letters, excessive cussing, unnecessary cussing, verbal diarrhea, and drunken typing.

If you or a loved one has expierienced one or more of these symptoms, please contact your nearest gunstore, and ask them for a double cheeseburger with no onions, immediately.

Take care, and thank you for staying safe.

Zelda Metroid and Mario are the only 3 Wii games I'll ever trust, and since they've already come out I'm debating selling it. I'm sure this game is above average when it comes to Wii games (It's not based on a movie which already puts it in the top 10 yes I'm dissing Kung Fu Panda again) but is it worth my 599 US dollars 599 US dollars 599 US dollars. I mean 50 bucks, sorry, my mind wandered off to the PS3 for a second.

Actually it's $40 list, and can probably be gotten a little cheaper.

And to accentuate Duck's post.
