Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Welcome back children, to Friday Night Fights! The time at the end of the week where everyone can eschew the conventions of going out and socializing with people irl to play video games (or in the case for people lucky enough to live in the right time zone, play before/after going out).

As I'm sure many of you are aware, the public demo of Left 4 Dead has been released to the masses, and we all have one more weekend to enjoy the game for free before the actual release. Sadly I have not had a chance to play it, but the reaction has been almost overwhelmingly positive. Also, we have a few more lovely and smexy brbu-ers put up dedicated servers for us to play with. Give some internet lovings to Surf and Vandam (who I need the connection info from). Also don't forget about BRB, 4 Dead, our steam group for BRBU'ers to get together and organize matches.

For Team Fortress 2 we have two maps for tonight. The first is htf_resortrivalry_b3, which is "hide the flag" instead of "keep the flag". It's similar, but there are some difference that may or may not address the issues we've had with ktf maps. In case that map is a dud there is a backup ktf map - ktf_store_3 - which looks like it'll provide some frantic fun.

Store is a great dm map for practicing class skills albeit with one caveat: it's more of a pyro's wet-dream than even cp_junction.

For me it's not that much of a choice. It's not too hard to get a full BRB'U game of Left 4 Dead going during the week, while a TF2 Match of all BRB'Uers is a lot rarer, so it's TF2 for me.

Its pinging on and off, its the connection at gameservers, if the server was crashing when the game came back up the plugins would default to FNF being on.

So yea, sorry folks, use #2

I'm trying to manual connect now, but having no luck. First I got an invalid ticket ID or something of the sort and then failed after 4 retries.
