So yea, those of us old farts and you young kids with some old school appreciation should check out gog.com for their new games they just added. I'm not affiliated with them I just like what they are doing since I grew up on most of these games.
In case you don't know gog.com is releasing old games and updating them to run on modern computers without problems (not updating the graphics or anything else). Then they sell them DRM free for $5-$10.

Insta-gib is okay, but you're better off playing Quake if you want that stuff. The ripper and sniper rifle provided plenty of insta-gib as is. Also ChaosUT mod ftw. And I already own (multiple) copies of all the stuff they're putting up there, and none of it is that hard to get running on modern stuff, but it's cool they have it.
BRB,U needs to play more UT. Whether it be UT99 or UT2k4 (No UT3 shit around these parts), I don't care.

While I don't own UT2k4, I've played some pretty fun games on it. Instagib railguns on a really long CTF map with a large hill in the middle. It took like an hour with about 20 ppl playing but it did eventually get to 3 caps
UT2k4 is where it's at. i wish I still had it. Almost considered buying it on steam for the lulz.

UT3 was the biggest piece of console-ized crap even down to the menu system and interface that doesn't even let you alter video settings iirc
