So i stumbled upon this today...

was wondering if anyone had used/ owns a pair of these and has any input... From what I can tell the newer one (crystal) is decent resolution and the only big complaint is the price. I found a few on ebay for about 100$ off, brand new never opened, so that helps in that field, but its still 200 bucks, so i figured I'd ask around. I watch TV shows on my iPod almost every day communting on the train, so it would certainly not go unused. I sit there holding the ipod up, or prop it on my bag, but with this it could possibly be much better and less of a hassle... hmmmmmm I hate seeing shit like this because I know I'll really want it for a few days haha
I heard they are crap and give you headaches. But things might have improved or something.
I hear they're shit too.
I wish they worked better.

This idea didn't work for the Virtual Boy, it's probably not going to work now.

For that price just buy a 7-9" laptop and use it as a media player.
If you are concerned about others watching your viewings..... 3M makes these nice polarized privacy screens for laptops.

edit: Also, I've used these and they're mediocre at best. Definitely not worth dropping cash on unless you seriously want to be able to watch your porn wherever you go.

The resolution doesn't matter much, actually. When you have the thing on its decent enough that you can watch without too much trouble, but the headphones suck and you look like a douche wearing it so its not worth it.
I have a friend who bought one when they were $200 and swears by using them on planes, but if you don't fly much its seriously not worth it.
