okay so my current cell phone is a piece of crap, and I'm looking at a new one
Not looking for an iPhone or anything like that, just something with basic phone/texting/etc. Videos/pictures would be nice, but not necessary. Music's also not necessary either. Something around $80-$120 range.

x2 The Razr is a giant flat pile of shit. Motorola's greatest achievement was the StarTac, everything since is a waste of copper and plastic.
Stick with the pros, Nokia and Ericsson (minding proper research into the specific model).

what model, does he like it?
I have one and I hate it. It's garbage, I'd be happier with a clamshell. The processor is poop, it's slow as fuck, can't sync to a computer because I don't own the full Microsoft office suite (open office doesn't work)
edit: I have an HTC Tilt
I think I'm gonna be stuck with either Verizon Wireless or Sprint.
Anyone have any phones that they are happy with on those networks?
