This thread stopped making sense as soon as I saw a picture of a car.
I'm kinda with Jon Stewart "The great part about auto makers is even when they fuck up and lose money you still get a car" as opposed to the bank bailout where we got jack shit but a note saying "so long and thanks for all the cash."

Did it pass?  All I've been hearing is that they were voting on it today.

In other news bailout passed the house, if you think it will pass overall you should buy stock in GM
NYTimes is saying the Republicans might stop it in the Senate. ;D That would be funny. Republicans might do something half-way decent for a change.
