I'm planning on getting CoD5 for christmas
Y'know, I saw that heading and instantly thought it would be a play on Cthulu.

I have and am quite good at COD4, but my internet connection causes horrible lag in every single online game I play.

That would be Arkham Horror. But I'm sure you meant a game that utilizes computers in some manner <_<. Though hell a digitized version of Arkham Horror would be great, I had a nightmare of a time trying to get all the rules right, and I know I did a lot wrong...
Huzzah, joined up. Now to go buy COD5, I've got 4 but I haven't played it in awhile.

According to the Rank and Challenges page, my overall score is 262250, with a K/D ratio of about 1.9, and I have EVERY challenge, including the weapons challenges, completed, except for the one where you have to kill an enemy by shooting an explosive through the wall, and I have all golden weapons, just to give you an idea of how much I've played CoD4. I have to agree on the weapons being a bit less gimmicky in CoD5. You do see a bit more variation in the weapons people use, as opposed to every other gun being the M4/P90, and they fixed a couple of perks...like now there's 2x frag instead of 3x frag, for example. Prestige mode also made it to the PC version, and it actually does something: it unlocks more custom class slots. That being said, completing the headshot challenges doesn't give you new skins, THEY FUCKING KEPT MARTYRDOM IN THE GAME, the singleplayer is forgettable, THEY FUCKING KEPT MARTYRDOM IN THE GAME, shooting through walls is much less prevalent, which may be a good or bad thing depending on you, oh and THEY FUCKING KEPT MARTYRDOM IN THE GAME.
also, dogs kick ass, and artillery is much more predictable than airstrikes.
I don't think it's worth getting at 50 bucks tho. It's a little iffy. I'll stick with COD4 for awhile. I'm willing to play it during the break also.

Well yeah of course I know about Arkham horror and CoC pen and paper type stuff. But yeah, I'd love to see an actual online cthulu game. If done right it'd be awesome.
