If this game is decent I will buy it for sure and anyone with some money for it should do the same... If this game will sell decently it might give a sign that DRM ruins sales...
Never played any of the Prince of Persia games yet.  I might spring for this.  But if the blog is correct, it feels like this "experiment" will be weighed down by a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Spore sold a lot, so even if this non-DRM version sells a lot, CEO will still be like "hurm hurm, if we can at least stop one out of 3 people from downloading our games, it will still be worth it"

And yes, i know Spore was the most pirated GOTY
Also, This new Matrix-esque PoP games are made out of pure fail (no pun intended Medic :3).  If i could double jump. AT LEAST FUCKING DOBULE JUMP on the original the game would be a lot easier. Hell, even the first enemy was a bitch, that game was a real puzzle game, not these new "puzzle" games in which you press a button and tadah, a platfomr appears! ZOMG that's puzzle! i pressed the button!

Yah I don't like the tone either but I also have a mindset which wants to prove them wrong...

The scourge of all media
so whats your excuse for pirating it this time caff?
This is the best PoP yet in my opinion. I guess I'd say I'm about halfway through, and everything about it is good. The characters are amazing, gameplay is excellent. Also oh god the enviroments are so beautiful.  if you want to change resolution or graphics setttings, go into the folder it's installed in, go to launcher and launch the launcher, that will allow you to change settings since they don't allow you to change them in-game.
thanks Big Grin
my favorite was sands of time, i loved the way the puzzles were.
i heard that they removed multi-enemy combat and acrobatic combat. that was what made the first game sweet.
idk ill prolly rent it for 360 and that will be it.0
If you do buy it, get it off Amazon as a retail copy, not Steam.  It's only $30 there.   And nothing about the combat in the first game was sweet, it was all crap.  But it was easy and exploitable so you could get through it fast at least.
And the whole thing about piracy is dumb, because piracy isn't really even related to DRM, especially for a game that doesn't play online.

no, it makes it feel a lot more dramatic than in the first games, there were just some parts in the first games where combat was fucking retarded difficult. The combos and just the way the fights play out in this are epic.

As far as I can tell the combat is even more retarded here.  Lots of shiny animations, but it's practically nothing but a QTE, since you don't really move or dodge anything, just hit a few buttons at the right time.
