Got the new hard drive and of course new headaches.  Everything seems pretty fine, though I can't install the audio drivers.  I just get an error.  I've tried the disc and downloading it, but no luck on either so I'm stuck without any sound right now.

Motherboard is an ASUS P5k Pro, Intel Core 2 Duo.  Audio drivers are supposed to be Realtek HD Audio I believe.
Were you installing from CD? Did you try downloading and installing the drivers yourself yet?

I tried both, getting a failure each time.

How up-to-date is your windows installation? It's probably a long shot, but for some reason, my drivers were failing to install the other day until I updated to one of the newer service packs (lol pre-sp1 xp disc)

what sorta error  ?
After doing a bunch of different things, a friend online managed to help me out.  I had to go about disabling audio stuff in the device manager, uninstalling it, then reinstalling with the disc and then had to replug in my headphones to work with the audio program.
There's a hotfix for this issue. It has to do with the Windows Unified Audio driver.
