So, uh, LET'S DO THIS.

Alteil is an online collectible card game. It plays like a CCG. It acts like a CCG. Etc, etc. There are a few key differences however.
  • All luck in the game is instead shifted to attacking, not drawing. Your attacks are random between what you can attack. Instead of drawing, now you have access to everything in your deck at once. This change makes things more consistent and less of the feeling that you've been fucked by a bad draw.
  • Life is dictated by the cards you allocate to it (called your Soul cards). These cards also have effects which can swing the battle in your favour.
  • You can only play one card per turn. No more being outswarmed by someone who can play everything in their deck by turn 1 (unlike certain Magic decks).
  • I should also mention it's free. Thanks to the opening of a 10 Gran lottery (Gran being the currency of the game), you can get a new card every day, not to mention new cards from leveling up, events, weekly allowances, and anything you're willing to pitch in.
  • Competitive decks aren't balls expensive: A good bit of the popular decks are composed of low rarity and starter deck cards.

I also teach the game and get nice bonuses out of it so pretty please let me sucker you into playing. :V

In before Deiv starts harassing me for starting a thread.
I remember seeing this thing advertised a fair bit in a few places.  But ah... no.  CCG's all end up with the same level of strategy as a static card game, but minus the level playing field, so it's not much fun.  I collected the shit out of one a long time ago, but barely ever played the damn thing.
