Yes, Yes, and Yes.  Finally confirmation of the sequel and it sounds even cooler before. I like that it won't be confined to a mall, but more of a city which would make things alot more exciting I would think.

Originally, Dead Rising was what got me to get 360.  I kinda wanted it, but after seeing it in action, I had to have it and had a blast, though I'm certainly hoping for no timer and more free-roaming this time.
I wish the original got ported to PC so I could see what all the fuss is about.
And more fucking saves. I dropped that game because of the uncomfortable save points

Was abit brutal having to find the bathroom to save or get back to the safe house XD After they tore Dead Rising for the Wii a new one, I would assume there would at least a couple things brought over like maybe no time limit and what not.

It wasn't the greatest game ever, but it was alot of fun fighting through hundreds of zombies with chainsaws, shotguns, and dozens of other odd or awesome items.  Don't think there's be a zombie game like that before or since now that I think about it...
Too bad the Megaman suit sucked and not to mention it looked terrible, with the visor like that it looked like something out of gatchaman, except without a cape.
It was pretty much GTA with zombies Eschatos

It was hella fun for me for about 2 weeks since the time constraint on the main mission left me unable to finish it Sad

Then I got bored of bashing heads in with a bowling ball
let's hope they make survivor ai better, I raged hard because of them refusing to go where I told them, also

BITCH I GAVE YOU A KATANA KILL SHIT ON YOUR WAY TO THE DOOR YOU FUCKER
If Left 4 Dead was this with 4 people, I would actually buy it.

That's what does it for me. The timer means nothing unless you're actually trying to do everything possible. Escorting survivors is the big pain.
Dead Rising was a great game with a lot of good ideas and a few broken gameplay mechanics.  So in other words, it's in desperate need of a sequel to polish up the few problems with the last one.  I'm excited.
Game was pretty damn good, the time limit was easy as shit until I tried the "save everyone ever" achievement, and that was because you had to do them in a certain order to get them all.

Also, Vongore, go play Resident Evil 1, 2, or 3 on the psx on noneasy mode, then complain about save points. Jerk.

OMG I've run out of typewriter ink, however will I save!?!?
Do they fix the problem where it gets really boring after the novelty wears off?

Already did that, and believe me, being able to save on Dead Rising is way harder. There are like 5 Bathrooms in all the mall, plus the safehouse. And each one is really far away from the other, so trying to not to dia in the process is rerally hard, also, the scoop missions are a pain on the ass. moving some survivor from one end of the mall to the entrance is hard. Really hard

Oh hello, I'm Nemesis, and I like to rape you. By the way, you just fought for an hour with no healing items, have one hit before you die, and when you exit that door loading screen into this narrow, straight hallway I'm going to spawn between you and the save room, TWO FEET AWAY FROM YOU AND ALREADY RUNNING TO PUNCH YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE
Bumping with a release date of August 31st for America. Also between this topics last post there's been big talk about the multiplayer set up game show style which sounds pretty fun.  360 will be getting exclusive DLC also that will link the first and second game called "Case Zero".

A bump cause this game is nearing release in September.

But first out is the prequel/demo/not-demo Dead Rising: Case Zero.

For only 5 bucks, you get a prequel to the main game, setting up why he is where he is and what he is doing and it comes out August 31st.  While it is basically a demo, the work you do in the game, transfers tot he main game, and you can just play Case Zero as a free demo, though I'm not sure how much your cut from or if it's just a time thing, but it'll give us a feel of the changes to the series and for only 5 bucks, it's a must grab I think.
