see link for details, i would sort out the night we did it n stuff, i would need someone who knows what they are doing to DM tho Big Grin
No, but I'd be interested in playing if someone does.
At penny arcade they had a post where one of their guys was doing it over webcam.  If we all have webcams I think we can do it.  But I've never played D&D.

Vent dude
Im in. never play D&D either
I know how to play Knights of the Old Republic, which is apparently based on a Star Wars RPG, which is based on D&D, so sort of :S

I would be up for this as well.

If I remember correctly the most recent edition of D&D comes with an online suppliment that allows for easy "internet play".  Also vent works.  Also, I would be interested in playing and possibly learning the rules for this sort of thing.
Talk to shadowcast
Is there a linux version of that program?
I know Luin knows how to play, I've seen her play it with friends using her webcam.

That is all.

Yes it's actually quite doable with bastardized setups. I used to play every sunday with some friends in NJ; I simply used my webcam and mic over MSN. It worked exceptionally well.

Handbooks are easy to "find" on the 'net as well. I don't know ALL the rules but I know something about it. Not enough to DM though.

Shadowrun I know how to play (up to second edition at least) and I know how to play the Star Wars RPG.  Not sure how many editions have came out of that one since ive played though
Would we really need webcams?  There might be a D&D program that's entirely online that we could use(not D&D Online, fuck that).
