Since Scotty is busy at some Tai Kwon Do thing, I'm making a stand-in post for this week. I'm not sure what he's really doing so I'm going to assume he's off in fantasy land training with Billy and Jimmy Lee with aspirations of one day fighting along side the battletoads.

Scout update his on Tuesday just in case you had been living under a rock for the past week, and by far the biggest winner out of the update, is the bank of voice acting and taunts, of which the new ones are absolutely hilarious.

PL_Norad, which myself and a group of mappers have been working on since the summer is finally out with a final release, you can download the map here. Just unzip to your tf2/maps directory and you are good to go.

Aside from TF2, there will probably be some people playing L4D, if you have any other games to add, feel free to post them here.

I hear there will also be some Worms Armageddon, but you'll have to talk to someone else about that. Tongue
Duck and I are filling in for scotty again.

Think it would be a good idea to try out the new norad (assuming the new release can be choosen from the admin panel), and egypt as i'm pretty sure it's the only custom turned standard that we have never played on a regular basis on the servers before.

we can then vote between a semi-serious pick-up affair, or pure goof-off rps shennanigians to round off the night.

Any map thats on the server can be selected from the admin panel, you aren't restricted.

The only maps not votable are some of the recent TFT maps that didn't make the cut and duel_duel1
Also, i'm pretty sure class limits are going to be on, so connect early to grab scout away from my cold hands

Unless someone else who had FTP access set limits, the only limits I believe are like 4 engineers and 4 snipers (2 engineers on some maps like 2fort and mach4)

Try reposting the info instead of expecting people to have ridiculously long lasting memories? (sorry, just watched a Stride commercial)

That version doesn't work for us.  I thought we decided last week that we were all going to have it on version 3.0

In other news, we're still figuring things out

Heh, yeah. I was away at a Taekwon Do instructor's seminar. Lots of training with other red belts, black stripes, and all ranks of black belts along with some 8th-dans (Masters) and a 9th-dan (Grand Master) giving us lectures on teaching, getting/retaining students, and things to keep in mind with your club like liability.

I meant to make the FNF posts along with another post about me being away for the weekend, but my drive showed up an hour early so I only had the time to post something asking for someone to make the post for me (thx btw <3). I assume nobody made a dtoid post, but whatever. Smile

Can I call you Master Scotty now?

Not for another 30 years unfortunately, which is how long it'll take me to get to 7th-dan.

Although you can still call me master at night. Wink
