If anyone cares, rotten tomatoes has the first few reviews in.

Sauce
Still excited for this, but I'm pissed of that they redid the ending. I still don't know quite how it ends now, but it just don't get how they could get away with changing what they did Sad Hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised though, and the reviews seem pretty positive.
need to read the rest of the book
I'll watch it, but am I the only one that isn't ultrahyped for this?

Where did you get that info? Zack Synder said in an interview that the ending would stay the same, but put a different ending on the dvd.

Here is said interview (spoilers)

Yeah, god damn that movie studio head who thought a fake 50 foot purple alien squid would look silly on screen and make no sense with the rest of the book.... Yeah, boooooooo.

Spoiler warning? >.>

I have to disagree though, I thought it fit in with the rest of the story fine, and that it was so bizarre and unexpected was what made it such a great twist.

Are you sure though Karth? I remember reading an article in Entertainment Weekly, a couple weeks ago saying they were scrapping it.
Yea I heard from several sources including wheaton that it was changed but that it served the same purpose and wasn't better or worse than the original so people should just shut up about it.

So I'm holding my nerd rage till I can confirm.
I'm excited for this movie, but not as much as I was for Dark Knight. The trailer still gets my blood pumping though, like the TDK ones.

Honestly, the ending of watchmen was not about what happened, but why it happened and it what it did.  I don't care how they achieve it, because in the comic it was quite grotesque and a bit silly.

Watchmen is 100% about character building and philosophy.  The plot it self is really not that good.

Yeah, I know someone who has seen it already. The ending is changed mildly, but the way the story flows pretty much remains unchanged and mostly stays true to the comic.
Pretty much done with my Rorschach costume. Not pictured are my pinstriped pants. Also, a high five to the first person to tell me what page my Rorschach pattern is from.

Couldn't get a brown fedora so had to settle with black. Looks fine though.

I wonder what he's thinking about. Those leather gloves were two dollars at Good Will. Shame I couldn't find brown ones again. The whole trench coat was 7 dollars. They got good deals.

Shows off my pin with an ironic "Life is good" next to it. Honestly, it is hard as Hell to find a smiley pin any more. This is the only one we could find.

Is that you?  What a strapping young man.
Nice, Spore. You gonna wear it to the theater?

Yessir.
Spore, i think you might be a new hero of mine.

Also, this week i was covering the basics of perception with my intro psychology students, and asked students in all 4 classes if they knew what the Rorschach test was, and all of then said no.  I then asked them if they knew what the ink blot test was, and all of them said no.

So either my kids are dumb (possibility), or this generation hasn't been exposed to much psychoanalysis in the new age of the brain.
