I need a shot from the ground of someone falling or jumping from a tall building. Preferably from a distance so you can't see details. Also there can't be anything else in the shot like cars or people on the ground or anything. Anyone have any ideas? Public domain stuff would be best, but I might be able to use footage from a movie if it was one I could *not* torrent.

Also, does anyone know a good way to convert .avi and mpeg files to whatever format Final Cut Pro uses?
what kind of sick project are you making?

If it's necrophilia, some of us might help.
I'm thinking you're going to have to kill yourself for your art.

It's a bit difficult to describe. We were given footage from a couple of old shitty sci-fi b movies. And we have to make a short video from it. But we can use other footage too. So there is this moment where a woman is fighting a wasp woman and she runs onto a balcony to get away. So I want to have her jump because it seems the easiest way to resolve the scene. :-\
Do you really think adding a video of a person actually jumping to their death would be acceptable? o.o Use a shot from a movie, or film yourself throwing a dummy off a building or something. Those would be better alternatives.

I guess I worded my post poorly. That's what I want, a shot from a movie. I just can't think of any movies with that kind of shot off hand. I definitely don't want footage of an actual suicide.
your a bastard.
weren't there shots like that in the trailer for The Happening?

There is a shot of three people jumping. Not quite the angle I wanted, but I might be able to make it work if I don't find anything else. Thanks. Smile

Good find, there were people suiciding off a building in that movie (also that movie sucked hardcore)

Haven't seen it, though the trailer had me wanting to see it until a bunch of friends ruined it by explaining why the movie was obviously funded by Al Gore
thaught you meant a real suicide.
