In anticipation for that big ass new Unreal Tournament 3 patch, Epic seems to be allowing a free weekend for the game this weekend. Maybe the patch will make it suck less. At least they're trying. I'll give them a second chance. We may as well try it.

i bought the unreal deal pack over the Christmas sale
unfortunately i UT3 doesn't run very well. it was fun, but doesn't run well on 8 yr old hardware.
Did they patch 'fun' into UT3 yet?

hmmm, considering how big the install is and how long it is taking to download i probably wont do it.
The download isn't that big, just EVERYONE IS INSTALLING IT.

I'd say 8GB is pretty damn big. With my campus's daily bandwidth limit, the free weekend would be over by the time I finished downloading it all.
Yeah, Mine is at 70% percent and i started it about 5 hours ago, and it says it should take 2.3 days to finish. ???
