Read this. The game is good. I didn't have enough space to cover everything, and since I know most of you are excited about it, you can ask questions here. I am kind of drunk because we had booze at work this morning.

Is it in any way shape or form NOT an RTS? Because that part pretty much precludes my interest in a game ;P.

It's not really. Half the characters can control minions, but it's a fairly small group and you don't have to worry about hotkeys or any kind of crazy management when you're using them. The most RTS thing about it is probably the Citadel/unit upgrades you can do.
It's a bit weird, it's a whole bunch of genres at once, but at the same time it's not really any of them at all. The official description in the press stuff is "RTS/Action RPG hybrid", but even they admit that's not really close to what it is.
Defense of the Ancients with a bunch of added mechanics is the best way I can describe it.

If its anything remotely close to DOTA it shouldn't be hard to get good at.Â
Interesting. There aren't many games coming out this year that I know of, so this could be worth a buy.
