Last week they buffed tank armor, this week its light vehicles and air, in order to combat this threat, its time for skyguards and AA Maxes (mostly skyguards), getting both costs 5 cert points, and hopefully we will be able to focus on camping air pads to keep people from taking off (this usually creates MUCH rage among pilots).

Failing that we may fall back on picnicking.

To those of you that may have come out in the past, or never before, please consider this, anyone who wants a tutoring session will be able to get one Wed, Thur, or Friday if you have never played before or need to brush up. Its completely 100% free to download and try, see you on the battlefield.

Day: SATURDAY
Time: 7pm cst (or earlier)

Ventrilo is mandatory
IP: il2.leetvent.com
Port: 3812
Pass: tightpants

If you make a character please post their in game name here

Fun in this game increases exponentially with the more people that join up so I hope to see more of the people that stated they were interested in the initial thread to come out, the game is FREE, but you are restricted to 14 days after which you will have to start all over again. If you get "suspended" or banned since the trial accounts are loopholes just make another one. Conversely you can spend $20 to pick up the game at direct2drive, which comes with a free month, this allows you to keep your character instead of having to re-level someone every 2 weeks.

TRIAL INSTALLER

Remember, the trials sometimes will RANDOMLY suspended you, just a heads up.
A word from the wise (aka I played on saturday): the Skyguard has serious issues defending itself from reavers now. While they buffed armor on both air and light vehicles, the surprise-and-rape tactic with a skyguard doesn't work nearly as well any more.

That's not going to stop me from driving one on Saturday though.

That's because you were only using one skyguard  :Smile

[/quote]This. Although we couldn't maintain formation since we were fighting on the edge of the volcano on Searhus and kept getting split up, so it was almost a moot point.

Also, all of the vehicles were unlocked last weekend (not sure if they still are). Something that _was_ a lot of fun was running a Raider, which also has an armor buff. We went head-to-head with Prowlers and came out on top, it was ridiculous. Something that _wasn't_ a lot of fun was running a Thunderer, a Thresher, or an Enforcer, they can't defend themselves against air and there are WAY too many reavers out and about.
sounds fun but i have a party to go to on friday and i have to get back to manchester during the day, might get tired.

I wish they'd do an event where the only vehicles available are the normal galaxy, the lodestar, and the ANT. They'd have to up the bumper damage and bring back the ANT bomb for it to really be fun though. Suicide survival with ANTs!
Also as an encouragement to get new people to come out, if we hit some size critical number, like say 20, I'll either give away a copy of the game, or something on steam in a random drawing of everyone who came out.

Seems pretty unlikely you'd be invited to two parties in a year let alone a weekend.
