Other than that Guild Wars sounds interesting. I also read something about some deal PS was supposed to be having at some point where you get a year free if you buy the game or something. Did this already happen or was this a rumor?

If you absolutely MUST play one, I might be coerced into going back to Ragnarok Online. The game is as old as time, but I find the 2d isometric gameplay more entertaining than any 3d MMO, and some classes actually take a modicum of skill to play. I think the official version is free to play now, though the leveling rates (like every azn MMO) are abysmal. There are a myriad of private servers for it however...
Oh and it has a fucking awesome soundtrack.

If we're going to do something that's not subscription based, Guild Wars would be good, and you can transfer I think items and maybe skills over to Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. Dragon Age looks interesting.

completed raped GW, been there done that got the pheonix, willing to help new players around if enough of us get it i guess.

I'm more and more interested in GW, plus GW 2 sounds awesome.
I have a PvE char on Guild Wars that I got past the ascension thingamajig, but then there's some quests after that to do for a dragon that I ain't done yet. Been a while since I screwed with it.
I used to play Guild Wars, probably be willing to get back into it again, though I gotta say I don't really play MMO's enough to justify picking up one with a monthly fee (WOW, etc).Â

Nobody on this forum has as much hatred to Maplestory as I have. I got to 150 before I quit. (BEFORE 4TH JOBS GOD DAMMIT, and before all the good training places we have now), gave my character away and now I just randomly sign online a mule I have to see if my guild is still alive. It isn't.

I got GW when it came out and liked it alright... then went to college and stopped playing and gave my acct away, then all of a sudden every1 was already max lvl and i was completely lost, so i had no urge to start over... i'd be into it though if people wanna start, I didn't think it'd last/grow like it did
