Pursue infamy in the beautiful Caribbean with instantly accessible arcade-like controls?  Where do I sign up?

Looks pretty with modest requirements, but I watched the gameplay trailer.  I was thinking each person was a member of a crew on one ship, but this looks like each player runs a ship and it's boat deathmatch.  I was hoping there'd be some FPS boarding action after the broadside phase.
I remember this game, was made by a couple British guys.  I might check it out for $10.
Downloading the demo now. Reminds me a bit of Sid Meier's Pirates! which was ok. Will report my findings later.
If you're into realism, this game probably isn't for you. For example, when sailing your ship, you are able to have it go reverse, and wind direction has no impact on your course or speed because there is no wind. The whole infamy system is a little retarded because at times it seems to run out really fast, and  when it hits 0, game over man. That being said, it's still fun to outmaneuver enemy ships and blast them to pieces and then use you're booty to upgrade your ship. Haven't tried any of the multiplayer so I can't comment on that, though I did see a splash screen for gamespy, so I imagine  it makes use of it's terrible buddy system and will probably be more of a hassle than it's worth if you want to play people you actually know. If you're even remotely interested check out the demo. It's less than 300 megs and pretty easy to get into. Besides, the sale is supposed to last for two weeks so you have plenty of time to decide.
