Quote:I think that's all Miyamoto. Whenever I speak to Miyamoto about Star Fox, he says it's not meant to be just a flying, sci-fi shooting game. It's meant to be anything we want to think up. But the core fans don't want that, but Miyamoto doesn't really care about that. He wants to make what he wants to make, so he just goes ahead and gets it done.
They'll make another 'Star Fox Adventures' and it will suck, horribly
I have not played a shooting game on the Wii yet where you use the Wiimote to shoot targets on screen.  In a Starfox on-rails archetypical stage, how tight would targeting be using the Wiimote?

On second thought, wait.  The Arwing's lasers don't have independant swivel capability... they shoot where the Arwing's pointed.  So you'd aim at something and you'd start flying that way?  I think that would be kinda meh.

If they did change it to where the nunchuck flew and the Wiimote aimed a ball turret or something, maybe.
Or they could just make star fox 64 and everyone would actually be happy instead of crapping out whatever brilliant ideas they want to tack onto the core gameplay. D:
You still reading Kotaku after they banned you?

On topic: Star Fox never appealed to me since Star Fox 64... I guess the series will just die, anyways if they don't plan on making a Wii game for it, unless they make a DS game out of it.

It was like the first post. It had -some- core Starfox gameplay, then a bunch of shit that the game didn't need thrown in.
Yeah the DS Starfox was made by him, and it was a terrible POS, so not missing out on much.  As far as I can tell he had fuck all to do with SF 64, which is by far the best and the only one Nintendo actually did themselves.
