i'm sure he signs an agreement that protects the from that.

sorry to hear about your cpu cbre88x
I don't know why they would remove the cover off his computer while painting anyway.
They shouldn't need to. So they might still be liable.

rumsfald

yes, a mystery.

Who was painting?

Why were they painting when you were moving?

Who took the cover off?

Why did they take the cover off?

Does the PSU not work with a drop of paint in it? I'd imagine the worst it would do is burn the paint off and you'd get high off the vapors.

Dump some paint into an electronic device, then turn it on.

Tell me how that works out for you.

A drop or a cupfull, it doesn't matter when it comes to sensitive electronics.

That's the thing. It was a few "friends" who were dicking around. They took off the cover when they moved the computer and managed to get paint inside of the damn thing. That's why I was so damn afraid of leaving the thing inside. ugh.

It's ok. I ordered a new one today..so it should be here by the end of the week at the latest.
beat them until they drop money, if games have taught me anything.
if you kill the prostitutes after you have sex with them, you can take all the money back that you paid them

It does nothing.
Unless it clogs the vents on a breathable component, insulates a contact, or somehow prevents free rotation of a fan; nothing will happen!
Hell, a lot of electronics are coated with epoxy or latex paints to prevent corrosion.

And since when was a power supply considered a 'sensitive' component?

A power surge caused my old one to explode, I guess it's kind of sensitive to way too much electricity.
