A recent competition tasked the members of the Game Artist Forums with creating scenes from famous movies using Unreal Engine 3.0 and CryEngine 2. The results are dreamy.

There were entries covering everything from Hellboy to Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, but the best are those we've selected below, with locations modelled from Blade Runner, Aliens, 5th Element and even Oldboy, teasing us with a screen from the best side-scrolling beat 'em up never created.

Hotness. I'm so hyped for a new Aliens game.

Wow, very nice screen shots

If there's a new Aliens game it MUST say 'GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!' every time you die
The one game that NEEDS to get made:

You like McDonald's that much, Steve?!
A proper Aliens game would be so fucking scary Tongue
There was a blade runner game, it was a pretty average adventure game.  There was a 5th element game, it was a pretty laym action shooter (with a lot of bugs).

Also Aliens V Predators was freaking amazing when it was out.  I loved being predator and nailing people to the wall.  Being the alien was kinda rough with all that wall running though.

I heard it was pretty good. Only played about an hour because I despise adventure games. Got the aesthetic down pat though.

I was just looking at my copy sitting on my cd rack.
I really enjoyed it. It runs within the story of the movie, interacting in the background without directly impacting the original story.
