So, I have been in the Air Force for exactly one year on May 20th, 2009 and I think it is time for a little vacation.  Except for a little jaunt home to see the family over Christmas I have worked nonstop, and now I am in the planning stages to take a little week long vacation.  I have been to a lot of the most popular vacation spots with family (Mexico, Southern Florida, Dominican Republic & Jamaica) and think that I would like to head back to Jamaica.  I have been there twice with family (Negril & Ocho Rios) and have been debating doing another trip to Negril, to the Sandals Resort they have there.  Has anyone been to it or can anyone make any other recommendations?
Go to VA beach, I'll be there for a month working, shit will be sooooo cash.
Denmark dude... Denmark.

rumsfald

In mid-September take Space A up to Eielson in Fairbanks and check out the terminal frost.
If you've got the cash and you're looking for a beach, check out the Grand Hyatt in Bali. And if you get tired of the beach you can take drive up to Ubud and check out the monkey forest.

Typically stupid backward government thinking.  They should put Special Brownies in your guys' MREs. Relieve the stress.

Nah, new hotel, installing irrigation system/100+ zone sprinkler system/FIOS drops.

We get free private rooms and the company pays our food, so basically in mid July I get a month long paid vacation during the peak of summer with a private room in an empty hotel.

Wouldn't know, I just had the news broke to me last week, so I'm not positive on the location or name of it. Just know we're heading up around July 14th.

You don't know how awesome that would be...too bad those MREs are a hard attack waiting to happen.  The calories in a single MRE is well over the daily recommended limit for total calories, and they are loaded down with salt and such.  I guess I understand why, since you are meant to be wasting through extra calories whilst eating them.  Anyway, back to my vacation ideas.

I've called my travel agent, and she is looking into some nice packages for me.  Yay!

She says it's because when you're a travel agent and you spend all day planning other people's vacations and never your own, casual fridays are not enough.
Aren't all the coffee shops in Amsterdam slowing starting to require some kind of membership card/license in an attempt to stop all the drug-related tourism? I remember reading an article a few days ago where they blamed tourists for bringing hard drugs to Amsterdam, damaging property, and increasing traffic in the area.
