So I've been feeling very nostalgic lately, and after a play through of Sparkster, I began to remember a PSone game that I loved quite an amount. Enough to actually solve the game, as young as I was. However, I can't remember the title of this game, so I figure if I spit out enough details, maybe one of you guys or girls can earn my everlasting love for finding the name of this game.

I believe it was an Action or RPG game, where at the beginning you could pick from 2 different characters, a boy and a girl. They were 2 separate campaigns, and I only remember the boy's campaign. It started out with him and his lover at a cabin, while it was winter outside, The main character, went to fetch some fire wood, only to return to his cabin to find his lover missing. This part is a giant memory leak, but by the end she was dead. I believe the main character or last boss had a mechanical arm, and one of the main characters had silver/white hair. One final detail that I know of, the girl's campaign started on a raft.

I'm sorry I don't have more details, but if one of you guys knows this game, I'll seriously offer you sexual favors for it's title.

Thanks :3
Star Ocean 2?

You seriously don't remember much about this game do you...

You're FUCKING WRONG.

You're thinking DewPrism/Threads of Fate by Squaresoft (Square Enix).

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU ;D ;D ;D
Ok, my turn!

I'm thinking of a NES game where you pilot a space ship. The first level of the game is viewed from the cockpit and the second level is a side-scroller.

The ship looks like a Volvo wagon crossed with a tie-fighter.

Shit I was just about to say that....also...I own it
I was thinking half of Elite.

Given there's around 4000 games for the NES though, I can't feign to know all of them.
Hmm.  Could I try one?

You are an amnesiac scientist who wakes up from cryosleep.  A dark forest reeking of poisonous fumes hides a gigantic insect.  To cross a sea, you will ride a dolphin.

Except for the scientist part (which even I'm not sure of) that sounds like Crystalis.

Correct!  Yep, he and that other important NPC girl who helps him are scientists.
Another one:

You look the screen from above, a number of enemies are set on the screen on certain positions and you get to choose between 3 characters. On some stages you can rescue some other characters that you can use. You main goal is to kill all enemies or go to the exit with all characters. Every character have 2 attacks, a normal one (mostly bullets) and a special one, determined by the character
Another one: You are a spaceship, who shoots bullets at enemies that move towards you.
