We had a great outing last week, grats to Versus, who won the drawing from Atom. For a comparison of $15 to his worth, his Dad probably wouldn't bother to pick up such a measly sum if he found it on the ground.

This week Id like to see if we can run a phantasm unit around for bubbles, gen holds, BFR Eye Fucking ™, and various other shenanigans, make sure that you have the proper certs to run with us.

If you make a character please post their in game name here

Fun in this game increases exponentially with the more people that join up so I hope to see more of the people that stated they were interested in the initial thread to come out, the game is FREE, but you are restricted to 14 days after which you will have to start all over again. If you get "suspended" or banned since the trial accounts are loopholes just make another one. Conversely you can spend $20 to pick up the game at direct2drive, which comes with a free month, this allows you to keep your character instead of having to re-level someone every 2 weeks.

TRIAL INSTALLER

Remember, the trials sometimes will RANDOMLY suspended you, just a heads up.

I'll be on in-law duty, so if I arrive I will be late.
I'll be in Minneapolis at a hotel, and my laptop doesn't run PS, so I'm out.

If we keep this going for another couple weeks, though, I'll put my prize up for grabs again.

I wasn't born into "loving family", but "loving family" likes to visit every 6 weeks or so... so that "loving family and my special someone" can get their hair done together....which entails me giving the diplomat's greeting to "loving family" as they arrive by train the night before and usher "loving family" to my home...which means that "we all" go out to dinner that night...which means "loving family" is not allowed to pick up the bill....which means I am out eating dinner and definitely having a beer at the time of PS Fridays this Friday....which means someone will definitely have to goof on Caff in memory of the sacrifice I am making and because I won't be there to do it.

It's some work, but then all relationships worth having require some work.
Yeah between TF2 update and people being busy, this will probably not be the best week.  I still might try to come out for a bit.

WTF is a nanite useful for?
Playing now, get on.  NC are actually doing some damage.
Made it to 13, I think I may drop AMS in favor of engineering.  Do you get good XP for healing stuff?  I'm trying to figure out ways to XP whore when no one else is on so I can get the added convenience of higher levels.

Lodestar/AMS/Router are great ways of getting a lot of XP fast and on your own

Park the lodestar near the front lines and just leave it, read a book or something and just move if you get attacked. For the AMS just park it near the front lines, move as necessary.

For a router you put the router near the vpad of a base, then put the pad indoors near the spawn (NOT IN THE SPAWN) and then just sit down and watch the pad for possible enemy cloakers coming through. As long as that base is the 'front line' base, people will use the router to get to the vpad and anything they kill with a vehicle nets your an assist. I think one day working from home I just had a router set up and whoring XP....I got something like 2000 assists in 3 - 4 hours.
