Success, currently installing Vista.
The stupid clean install they gave me had the system files spread out through the middle of the HD, so if I tried to partition anywhere near split or over it would cause a kernel panic, because it would try and move the system files.
I had to completely re-install leopard with my dad's copy. Then run boot camp. But it is working now and I am installing vista. As punishment I gave leopard only 68 gigs vs 80 for vista.

So to update everyone on the ongoing fail, I somehow managed to mistype my password twice when I created it. Now I cant log on.
I am reinstalling.
