Haven't played horror games..... amnesia is good but doesn't count.

=[

how is amnesia not a horror game?
It is a psychological thriller.
where you are being chased by horrific stitched monsters that want to eat you. Seems pretty horrific to me.

To the general public: What are your favorite PC horror games?

Toughie. Amnesia's good, as is the whole Penumbra series. System Shock 2 is pretty sweet, There's a mod for Half Life called "Afraid of Monsters" that was great, the mod "Nightmare House 2" was pretty sweet too. There was also a bit more of a sleeper game called Dark Falls 3, or something like that. Was good. I'm probably missing a ton, but just off the top of my head, those come to mind.
Awesome, I will relay the list to my friend since she wanted some recommendations and I do not play any horror games myself. She already has Amnesia and Penumbra and also Half-Life so I think those types of games are what she likes.

What would make you want to move to america/canada respectively and what would make you not want to?

bonus question for vongore:
would you rather live in the states or canada?

Re: question for _________ - If-I-Die-Its-Lag - 12-11-2011

Hulkamania

Honestly, it is more so with personal freedom and liberty.

Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be able to live somewhere where the temperatures are under 110 degrees during the summers. Arizona's had that effect on me.

Re: question for _________ - Dr. Zaius - 12-11-2011

Karf, you've been getting baked all this time and never knew it. Good on ya.

As for US or Canada, it depends on what happens soon, I guess. It's kind of a cool kid's thing to just say 'oh man i'm gonna move to canada if stuff gets super fucked here lol gg america', but I really am interested in the idea of getting away from all of this, mainly because I detest american culture. If I can find someone who loves me enough to move away with me, I totally will. Be it Canada or somewhere in Europe (translation: Germany or one of the northern european nations who aren't fucked inside out).

Writing a paper on european nation states right now, coincidentally.

I'll live in any country that recognizes the people's right to self-defense. It leaves me with pretty much the US and the Czech Republic.

Well, I'm laughing because every country you go to has its problems. There's no running away from the stupidity of leaders. At least America was founded on values that I respect, even if I don't agree with the politicians and what they say this country needs.

Yeah I understand that. I think that that's where our problem lies, though. We still have a group of people at the top telling us what we need, when we should be self governing.

Until humanity has a few hundred years or more to evolve past some of our lovely failings, self government is quite literally impossible. As a collective race we're far too immature for that to work; anarchy would be the rule of the day.

Which is what's even more depressing. I might've overspoken by saying self governing, I meant instead to say direct democracy, but I don't know what difference that makes.

I thought a tumbler was a type of glass you took whiskey in. The more you know.
