Serious Sunday 08-01-09 Edition "C" - broonor - 07-28-2009

This week seems to have some sure-fire winners.  Just so we don't step on the toes of some others out there, we should probably not do C&C but whatever you want I shall play.

Due to file sizes and purchasing time, we need to decide on a game by Friday.

Time: 7 PM EDT
Date: Sunday August 1
Place: Hamachi? Interwebs?  Depends on game.

Call of Duty (whichever has coop mode)

I know World at War has co-op. I dunno if any of the other ones have it, though. I support Call of Duty and C&C.

well it appears we're pretty even, with CoD narrowly in the lead.  Need some more interest to fill it out methinks.

Looks like we're shaping up for a CoD night, but we shall see.  Anyone interested in doing CoD coop regardless of Sunday, make sure to start downloadin patches if you haven't played your game in a while... Activision didn't feel like making an all-inclusive patch, and some of these include map packs.  900 meg later, I'm patched.

Looks like we  need a quick tie-breaker.

Choices still same from poll (either get someone else to vote or voice concerns here)

Call Of Duty (WWII FPS)
Civilization (TBS, never-ending Tongue)
Command & Conquer (RTS)
Conflict: Denied Ops (Non-WWII FPS)

OK, since i'm having issues getting CoD to work over hamachi, we're doing Civ IV.

Are we doing stock Civ IV? Or with expansions?  Colonization (stand-alone)?

I'm voting stock or Colonization to minimize on download.
