SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

Diglet quit and it has been suggested we remake the eRep thread for serious. So here we will plot our eWorld domination.

First off the basics. If you want to give this game a chance I encourage that you do. It's very interesting and has an economy, politics, warfare, propaganda battles, and other weird crazy shit going on if you are willing to stick with it. The first 5 levels are dreadful dull and all you can do is click two things for a few days until you hit 5. If everyone could try it and stick through to at least level 6 it would be great help to us as I get gold and I give that gold directly to our organization. Use this referral link and pick Florida as your starting point if you want to be in eUSA (Q5 hospital and capital):

http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/Surf314

Second: any help needed send your requests to BRB Organization or Surf314. I've been spending most of my money on you guys which I am happy to do, but this means I'm going to consider food and moving tickets first priority. Also help is available to figure out game mechanics just PM me in game or go on IRC.

Third: I put a poll up to find out what skills everyone has so I can plan out our company purchases. I can pay everyone from BRBU break even wages.

That's all for now.

Investor spreadsheet:

Breakevens as of labor 10/26/09:

Never Fail Oil = $0.45
BRB Boomsticks = $6.66 (the beast  :-X)
BRB Air = $5.56

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

Also if you could log in diglet I think you may have some legacy gold.

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

Company status: still hasn't sold but grain prices are rising. May end up being more viable in the future. No state in the US is high grain, owned or occupied.

Next company will more than likely be oil in Louisiana. In honor of fail (lives there) I would like to call it Never Fail Oil. If anyone can make me an icon that would be awesome. Then when the grain company sells I will get us a moving ticket company so we can buy the oil from ourselves.

How big does the icon need to be again?

Also, what's up with voting.  What level do you need to be, how exactly do you vote when election day comes around, and do you need to be in a political party to vote?

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - CaffeinePowered - 09-04-2009

Political Party

The Coalition for the Upkeep & Nurturing of quote Trees (C.U.N.T.)

- Our goal as a party is to preserve quote trees for future generations so that all may bask in their shade. These endangered trees for too long have been chopped down and shunned by the general public, we must educate the unwashed masses on their importance, especially since they provide habitat for both the lurker and the spammer.

I think 64 x 64 but you can double that to be sure (it'll resize).

Also someone is selling their party on the eUS forums, might get us one on the super cheap (my bid is 2 gold and I'm winning so far!).

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

Dark chief is dying! I can send him food if he promises to login and 2 click for a while.

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

I think I just lost the bid for a political party  Sad. I'll be on the lookout for another opportunity. There are a ton of dead parties on the party list so I'm sure someone will sell one again eventually.

This is for BRBU donations. I'm trusting everyone to be honest. I do have info to check it so if you lie there may be repercussions if it is intentional. This is so that once we start making money and being successful everyone who has donated can start getting some stuff back.

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Surf314 - 09-04-2009

Odd I thought I donated more than that...Wait I remember I think it costs gold to make the organization.

Yea it costs 5 gold, I'll add that in since I'm not worried about paying myself back first anyways.

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Duck, Duck, Goose - 09-04-2009

Pretty sure I donated my 0.02 gold or 0.2 or something a while back. ???

Add it then. I'm going to add a column for percentage ownership too. Also all non-gold donations are going to be considered charitable contributions. I'm sending brb org like 4-5 foods right now if anyone needs them.

Awesome, 0.48% ownership. 8)

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Greatbacon - 09-04-2009

Booyah, my boss just gave me a 1.50 raise.  Too bad I already worked today  :-\

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Luinbariel - 09-04-2009

WTF, I've never had a boss contact me or give me a raise or anything. :/

Mind you, I jump to higher paying jobs fairly quickly.

Re: SRS eRepublik Thread - Badgerman of DOOM - 09-04-2009

My boss is great. I have a $4 salary now.
Anyways, I just hit level 6, then 7. Shall I donate some gold, and if so, who should I donate it to?

that's probably why, i got two raises in two days because its now the highest paying job i can do at my skill level (even though its a no skill required job)

also is there a way to increase how much skill/strength you get from work/training.

i would donate gold but i need to buy a house, so I'll donate food when i get the chance.

I'm probably going to stay with this job for awhile, it pays like $10.50 a day and seems to be pretty stable, so this looks promising.
