League of Legends Night Redux- Thursday, July 21 - Badgerman of DOOM - 07-11-2011
Hey there all. Just posting to see if there's any interest in another League of Legends night. I know the first one kinda wound up floundering but we really didn't have a gameplan.
Anyways events would consist of Draft Racing, All Random All Mid, and maybe a draft scrim if people want to stick around for it. Would probably wind up 2.5-3 hours long. I'm good any time after 10 PM EST, or even earlier on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat.
Draft Racing is a draft-mode custom game that has the primary goal of suiciding on the enemy team's spawn platform to score points. You are not allowed to go through lanes or farm, mostly to avoid getting minion XP. You MUST die on the enemy's spawn platform to score a point. Exceptions to the farming rule are moves like Master Yi's Alpha Strike, which can be used as a soft flash. I think it'd be best in our case to play Best Score at 20. Rule breaking results in the other team gaining a point.
All Random All Mid is a wee bit more popular than Draft Racing. The name says it all- the game is locked into Random mode and you are ONLY allowed to go mid. No jungles or sidelanes. You are NOT allowed to recall. So this more or less limits your buying to when you're dead or the time immediately after you respawn. There's a small banlist- Summoner Revive, Fortify, and Teleport are not allowed, Guardian Angel is not allowed, and the 3 snowball items are not allowed. Game ends when GG is sent up or an inhib is destroyed.
Meet in Mumble server's League of Legends lobby at 8:00 PM CST/9:00 PM EST. First game of the night is normal draft. If not even more normal drafts.

I think a straight up regular inhouse game would be awesome if we can get the people. Also Thursday does not work for me, I got work until 10PM.
