Wow, still needs to replace the gun noises and some of the other models, the heavy's replacement is really nice.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Eschatos - 08-02-2010

One of the sides should be the Chaos Space Marines.

Blue = Ultramarines
Red = Chaos

Or at least...I think that makes the most sense...Red could also be Blood Ravens....

I love every part of this and if the models are avail they should be added to the white list like, immediately - 5 minutes ago.

Only thing I dislike is the part where every class having it's own distinguishable outline / shape from any other class @ any angle., some of those are hard to tell what they are from any sort of distance until they shoot.

boner.

It'd be hard to aim properly at people since it makes them seem huge but I assume the hit boxes are normal.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - PyroZombie - 08-02-2010

huh, reminds me of the pyropack I saw on FPSBanana. He had this huge, uncharacteristic armor called the space marine pack.

yeah, its pretty hard to tell whats what but he (the model maker) seems to be trying to fix that with the bigass class symbols on the pauldrons

honestly i would like it if each class was a different division, just to make them easier to distinguish

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Odin - 08-02-2010

The blu heavies were so amazing, holy shit.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Whendilin - 08-02-2010

I think we can all agree that this is an amazing re skin. I agree with caff that they need to replace the sounds. The 40k scout model for sniper looks kinda funky with the cape being like elevated (need to remove the shoulder pads). This is amazing none the less and I will be downloading.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - at0m - 08-02-2010

Needs a _smidge_ more work, but pretty amazing. He needs to reskin some more of the weapons and work on some of the animations (if he can?) for the Soldier and Sniper. Superb effort though, I love the Engi although I wish he had an older mark of armor on (artificier armor yo).

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Trace - 08-06-2010

Sniper should have been a vindicare assassin  :p Still awesome though

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Eightball - 08-07-2010

Wish the video slowed down a bit and showcased each model, but it still looks cool. Dunno why the sniper is the only helmet-less character; maybe his model is just a WIP.

Will definitely try this, but I'm worried that with player models that fat it's going to throw off my game or get confusing when there's a lot of them standing near each other.

EDIT: Maybe scoot's bare-headed too? I can't tell in the video.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - at0m - 08-07-2010

Scoot and sniper are both bare-headed because they're both based on SM Scouts from 40k. It's an all-marine skinpack, and the only troops that can get Sniper Rifles are Scouts.

Re: Warhammer 40K 2 (TF2 Related) - Odin - 08-07-2010

Blu Heavy was also helmetless.
