Another mystery solved - jdub28 - 07-13-2008

Remember when I had no sound for TF2? Well last night I finally figured out that when I plug my usb stick in and leave it there Vista decides to automatically use it for Readyboost, TF2 and other programs start caching files on the stick and when I remove it stuff goes wrong.

This morning I spent an hour and a half trying to figure out why I kept spinning around in circles in TF2. When I was on the menu screen my mouse worked fine. I stilled tried to reinstall the mouse drivers, and tried messing with the mouse sensitivity. When I was walking thorough my room I bumped a 360 controller lying on the floor and when I sat back down at the computer the problem was fixed. Turns out my 360 controller was synced with my pc and the analog stick was tilted because of the way it was sitting, causing me to spin in circles only when in-game.

Why does god not want me to play TF2?

No mention of Budr solving your problem by suggesting that you check for any controllers plugged in  Sad

I must have not had my headset on then, or wasnt looking at the screen. Thanks though, maybe your suggestion caused me to trip on my controller.
