On a whim today Neo_ and I had gone spectator and began narrating the rounds of dustbowl as though a sporting event.
People FUCKING LOVED IT.

Someone joked that we should have admin for the day to kick people who were trying to stop the commentary, but I figure that someone would be on hand to do that.

This sounds like it has potential, but please limit it to 2, maybe 3 people at the most doing this, and try to only do it on like one night.
I ask this for a few reasons, too many people doing it at once, you're going to stumble over each other and it takes away from the game if 1/3 of the people are sitting in spectator watching.
Secondly, if you do it on one night it will encourage people that like it to come out on that night and play if you are funny enough. And it will keep it from getting stale. If you do it almost every time you are on the server, or someone is doing it every night, then its going to get really stale fast.

You need to be more Madden-esque. You know get into character, like one be the dumb excitable one and the other be the quiet intelligent one who has to constantly correct the dumb one. You know the guy who is constantly questioning his career and why everyone likes the dumb one better and why didn't you just take that job at the local news station, at least there you'd get some respect. But no you had to go and try to be a big shot even though sports was just a casual interest. You thought once you got some face recognition you could get work on any of the big news shows. You thought it was only a matter of time before you were working the big stories. Fuck this job, next time that dumb shit states the obvious I'm gonna stab him in the face.
