No, my precious Steam D: - BoBoTheBum - 08-03-2008
Okay, so recently my modem shat the bed and I got a new one this saturday. I power everything up, play some tf2, leave the house for the night. I come back and now steam can't connect to the internet.
Steam troubleshooting is no help, since I don't know WHY. I have no firewalls, my modem =/= a router, and I have no new third party programs running.

Close Steam, Delete ClientRegistry.blob, open steam, wait for it to update
That worked for me, i had the same issue

Steam is shit. My steam doesn't let me appear in stats, although I am not using any 3rd party programs (I don't hack, it's all skills).
Can't help, though... uninstall.
