Welcome back to PC Friday Night Fights! Where everybody has a 'nice dick'. Smile

I'm happy to announce that we have some interest in hosting another game! Bloodylip from Destructoid has said that he would like to play some Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. If you have it, I would encourage you to help him get a game going. His id within the game is bloodylip, so look him up!

For Team Fortress 2 I'm planning on starting the night off with some ctf_steamroll. After we're all sick of getting run over by trains, I think some pickups on pl_donkeykong are in order. Then we'll see where the evening takes us. I don't remember if those maps are in the map packs, so just in case I included the download links for them. Smile

For those wanting to frag zombies instead of soldiers and pyros in Left 4 Dead be sure to make use of the steam group to get. Everyone in that group has L4D (or at least should), so you can use that to help find people to play with instead of spamming invites to people who may not have the game. The group is invite only, but asking anybody in the group will (or at least should, and if not ask me) get you an invite. Also, don't forget our L4D server listed below, which should now be linked via the Steam group. Smile

Enemy Territory was such a disappointment, for me at least Sad

I'll probably be playing L4D and Planetside

I don't have ET :X

Steamroll and Donkey Kong?  Yeah I'll be sticking to L4D and Planetside too...

You can count on me in TF2, L4D, or a surprise match of Company of Heroes.

Replace Quake Wars with Wolfenstein, and you got a deal.

Re: PC FNF - 2009/01/23 - Finally A Third Game Edition - Squishy3 - 01-30-2009

I didn't get to make it out this week, but if he's itching to play Quake Wars again, I'd be up for it, I'll bug Dave to play too since he has it

Re: PC FNF - 2009/01/23 - Finally A Third Game Edition - KarthXLR - 01-31-2009

Had fun tonight.

Things got a little out of hand, but it cleared up with a great Pick-up match, amirite?

Edit: We need to do Balloon Races and Wacky races more often.

For a brief moment I thought you meant that it was disappointing nobody else took Bloodylip up on his offer. Then I remembered that it's you, and you just incessantly bitch about any game that isn't TFC or Planetside. Tongue

Bloodylip has agreed to try to get a ET:QW game going again next week. If I remember however I'll suggest using the Wolfenstein version instead (as free is definitely good).

In addition, I am now open to taking suggestions for maps and things to do for FNF. Just send me a forum PM with your suggestion! However, keep in mind that I will only use maps currently on the server (look at the map pack, unless it's an update of a map). Someone already suggested tc_meridian (which recently updated to b3), which sounds like a good idea to me. Smile

Wolfenstein is not only free, it's a lot more fun.

Wolfenstein:Enemy Territories was fucking win. Publisher cancelled the expansion, so they released MP to the internet as a standalone free game? AMAZING! Also, Covert Ops + Disguise + STEN = "SPAH IS SAPPIN MAH CORPSE"

Enemy Territories: Quake Wars sucked, then made my graphics card (that it came with) overheat and my computer crash, so i uninstalled it. It was crap for the 10 minutes I was actually able to play it, though.
