Medal of Honor is now stepping into modern day war by taking us straight to Afghanistan.  It'll be interesting to see how they go and re-invent themselves like Call of Duty did with their game.  I know I'm glad they are done with World War 2 games now for the most part lol

They're moment they stop making WWII games is the moment we're all collectively going to say "damn! I miss WWII games"  Wink

I could do with a few years off TBH.  I've stopped playing all WWII games because of it, and am pissed that Assassin's Creed 3 is going to be set in WWII x.x  Srsly, why not the French Revolution or something?

<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.

I've heard NOTHING about this. Is this something implied in AC2?

He never says that's where it is definitely going to be set. He doesn't even explicitly say that they're considering it.

What is this talk of Assassins Creed shenanigans? This thread is for badass soldiers who have beards!

We are gonna keep making WWII games until there's another war that isn't happening right now. Companies don't want to break that barrier because they're probably scared that people will think "OH GOD THIS IS REALLY GONNA HAPPEN AHHHHHHHHHHHH."

No wonder. I don't read Destructoid anymore.

Oh also, game is medal of honor in name only Tongue  But then again, many FPS games don't always have unique characteristics outside of the setting.

I can't help but read "most realistic modern warfare game" tag without thinking of this:

Ultra-Realistic Modern Warfare Game Features Awaiting Orders, Repairing Trucks

Well maybe EA won't take out dedicated server support like Activision/IW did.

Who knows, they might actually give us good passport-detection algorithms this time as well!

Seeing that Battlefield Bad Company 2 has come out to say they will have dedicated servers for the PC version, an EA game, we'll definitely be seeing it for this game I think, especially since they are trying to push this game and other shooter games to combat Activision and Modern Warfare 2.

I've already hit in 70 in MW2 lol Bad Company 2 won't be out for a few more months which will be plenty of time between it and MW2 so I'll just be ready to go play that.  Though I need to decide what system to get it for.

I loved the story in the first one. It was probably my favorite.

I'd have hit 70 by now if I hadn't played the game for 2 days
