researching your SSD drive choice here

says: Not the fastest SSD chip in town, perhaps; but thanks to frequent firmware polishing, it's now a very consistent performer. In fact, the Nova V64 beats all comers in our file decompression benchmark.

Admittedly, the margin is small enough to be within the realms of error. We don't think the V64 is actually the fastest drive here in any objective sense. Indeed, it's well behind on both sequential reads and 4k random performance.

looking though the corsair site it seems this is their entry level SSD drive, whereas you have top end components everywhere else.
they have a different product line however that caters to you enthusiast desires in the Force series

25 dollars more than the other and much better performance. Double checked and the 3.5 bracket does not come included in the 40GB model.

regarding motherboard: no i dont really have any suggestions in place of the one you chose. I had a Build thread a while ago and used this Asus MB. ill leave it up to your discretion Smile
