Y'know, speaking of SoE, did anyone else ever play Infantry?  It was actually the first online game I ever played, way back when we got broadband for on our awesum AMDK6-2 400mhz computer.  I was surprised when I saw they were still running it.  I don't remember a lot, other than I was a badass medic that would solo capture points ahead of everyone else.

I resubbed yesterday and can play on my laptop, I'll probably be on ventrilo tonight playing, don't expect too much out of me other than being a guide though, I suck ass on my laptop, I can never press the keys I want to and the mouse...well, its not a G5

You can't plug the G5 into the laptop?  Also the secret to laptop gaming is to rebind the ctrl key to something easier that isnt already being used.  Like shift or mouse3.

Its not the control keys its the F keys, PS has a tool bar that's bound to the F keys, and the weapons are bound to 1 - 5 so if I go to hit F2 in battle to use my medkit, it hits 2, which is the weapon I am using, I then holster it and promptly die. Happened about 6 times last night in fights I should have won.

No, just that I got bored waiting for my cad and since my laptop can play it, it gives me something to do.

Eschatos ran around and got killed, wedge climbed a mountain, and Atom I and another vet bombed shit or blew it up with tanks.

[/quote]I suck as bomber, the best part of that was bailing and assassinating the AA Max that almost shot you two down. And an enemy Magrider. And some CE. And half a reaver. And half a mosquito. Not bad for a lancer and only one box of ammo.

Seriously though it was lots of fun, hopefully there will be gaybots for us to hunt on foot next time, I want to put those 5 certs to use I don't have hacking, there's no way I'm going to try to turn my main into an infil. Thats why I have a second character >_<
