Does it have a fan? If yes is it running?  If no you may have found your problem.

Same thing happened to me when I installed a video card. If at all possible, you're going to need to uninstall your drivers, and get a new card.

That's my opinion on it at least.

Sucks, you backup?  At least that's one of the cheapest parts to replace.

I've said it before. If you are going to raid, do either a 1+0 or raid 6.
Raid 5 has an extremely high failure-on-rebuild rate; as when one drive fails, the next is right on the border.

Drives are cheap, data usually isn't.

Depends on what you are storing, if you had really really important Data you'd be using some exotic raid reserved for corporate servers...but generally I think porn, music collections, and save-games aren't worth that much  Tongue

I would actually be really depressed if I lost all my music, but maybe that's just me.

[/quote]I think what Hek is trying to say is that if you're going to RAID-5, you might as well shell out the cash for an actually reliable system and use RAID-6.

Bingo. One extra drive isn't going to break the bank, and you will be glad you did, plus almost every consumer-level RAID controller that supports raid-5, now supports raid-6.

Most corporations use SANs with virtual disk groups. They are magical.
