Interesting. I almost want to read this manga. Almost.

I've only read some plot synopsizes but it does seem really good. Hey Blues, any tips on totally not finding the manga?

Don't think so, this one just followed Red, his Rival Blue, them meeting Green and Yellow and fighting the Elite Four and Team Rocket. They're currently on a Gold/Silver arc but I stopped after the "originals" arc finished up because I just can't see anything being more badass than the manga version of Red/Blue.

Brock is Ash's repressed sexuality

That bitch! Brock was my favorite!!!!!!!!

DOES THAT LOOK LIKE REPRESSED SEXUALITY TO YOU?!

Why does that look more like Brock's little brother?
[/quote]
It doesn't, because Brock's main pokemon for like 3 seasons is a Mudkip, and Brock has like 6 little brothers and sisters, i wouldn't think they would just single out one of them.

There's an episode of the character driven Pokemon series (chronicles, I think) that focuses on Brock winning back Pewter Gym from his mum, and in it he also inspires one sibling who he names next gymleader.

pokemon was cool before it became a kids show, although this kinda makes sense as to why the show sucks now

wouldn't surprise me if this is actually all purposely true, after all, it is a japanese creation

and we don't have to look far to see other japanese geniuses (miyamoto)

Pokemon Special/Adventure, for those who asked. I was surprised to find out it's at fucking Vol 28, I'm still at like 7 where Red/Blue/Green/Yellow left off. Hoping for reappearances!

I stopped reading after like 6 chapters of Gold. Maybe now that I have a link (not to mention a torrent) I'll start reading again.

This has up to the DPPt arc. Watch out though, some names and the page presentations change occasionally. Just finished reading the last one.
