Yes. Azumanga Daioh is pretty good as just a random anime with no plot whatsoever. School Rumble I enjoyed quite a bit too.

I started watching School rumble gave up trying to watch it about 5 or so episodes in. I didn't dislike it, but i don't have the will to watch it.

I watch things in Japanese simply because the dubbed voices are fucking terrible. I'd rather hear something in its original form than listen to some fucking 12 year old over act.

-The voice actors are generally 40+ year olds trying to voice children and/or opposite sex (granted Japanese do this as well buuuut)
-The voice actors are generally completely off for the character. A badass character sounds like that nasally xboxhueg glasses inhaler kid from 3rd grade, and a 12 year old weiner sounds like a 30 year old smoker.
-The voice actors almost always underact their roles, especially when it comes to yelling/screaming and they do that "inside voices yell"
-The dubs are almost always terrible.

Granted, there are some good dubs. Noteable exceptions include Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Dirty Pair, and all of Yu Yu Hakusho cast except Kuwahara.

Scrapped princess was a good dub IMO, and the guy that does one of the voices also does Alucard and a dozen others and I think he is a good voice actor.  Plus Death Note has Gaeta!  You can't go wrong with Gaeta.
