Long hair doesn't have to end with your youth, get yourself a guitar and a crippling heroin addiction, and you can have rock star hair for many years to come!

Though on a serious note, you can just do what I do: Grow it to the small of your back, then donate like 12-14 inches and start over. Repeat process until every poor cancer kid in America is decked out in a blond lions mane.

Quite honestly I've grown rather attached to my hair over the what, 8 years I've been growing it? I plan to cut it, and probably regrow it enough to donate it again. I get regularly told I have really nice hair, I mine as well share it with people who need it more then I do.

I did the same with my hair several years ago actually. I'd been growing it out for awhile and it had gotten quite long, and then one day I just walked into the salon and told them to cut it all off. Like, it was super fucking short.

I intended to donate it so I kept it, but I still have a large bag full of my hair, in two ponytails. I don't know if I can still donate it because honestly, it's been years, but there it is.


I've since grown my hair out again, over the course of several years. I have discovered that I look hideous in short hair now that I'm older and fatter, but also that I am quite vain about my hair. I get told the same thing fairly often, that It's very nice. I love going to the salon for that reason. EVERY time I get told how beautiful it is and how jealous my hairdresser is.

It has only just gotten a little longer than it was the first time I cut it. I'll post a picture, I guess. This isn't really an FML but I get where you're coming from. It takes a lot of work. It's sad to see it go...



Gonna grow it as long as I can before I get sick of it and cut it to a more normal length. To my knees if possible! If you can imagine, I cut all this back once a few years ago to like an inch or two.

I forget I'm a freak. My hair can reach mid back in about a little less than a years time. It's like I possess the genes of a cave man. A cave man that knows how to be superfly, and teaches high schoolers that true coolness comes from within.

If it's booted to windows (I have the guest account enabled on the laptop, they'll have no problem getting in and giving more evidence on who they are) - everything that happens on the laptop will also be recorded by the Lojack software, forwarded to the vendor and subsequently the police. So if they like, log into their facebook page, they're fucked.

My laptop was turned on today for probably the 1st time since it was stolen earlier today (The battery was dead @ the time) and sure as shit, they logged into their ebay account. Guess what used to be listed as for sale from that seller?

Luin, your hair is rather nice, I'm not quite sure exactly how long it is since it seems to be a little curly towards the ends, but mine is probably quite a bit longer, I will probably take a photo tomorrow to share since I just stepped out of the shower and my hair is wet.

Merc, my hair grew rather fast the first year, but it just gets slower and slower, and since I had NEVER cut mine, as in not even get rid of all the "dead" hair at the ends it just grows even slower. That was wayyy back in 7th grade though so it might have just been my age it was growing fast.

Primary HDD just literally went up in smoke.

1st HDD I've ever had that had a catastrophic failure like that. Had to happen within 24h or Portal 2 releasing though.

So now I'm down to this little server for a week while my RMA drive cross-ships.
