People don't get my humor.

If it's not funny any more, for christ sakes, tell it straight to my face.

Good thing, yes.

Misguided, could be.

All you can really do is to voice your opinion.

What exactly would you be protesting and what would you hope to achieve?

I would hope for a voice to be heard. Everyone there is protesting for a different but similar reason. I would be protesting the fact that the government is controlled by companies so companies control us.

Received a few e-mails about our BlackBerry server having issues, so checked it out, saw errors. Spent 2.5 hours trying to resolve it to no avail. Find out it's a widespread RIM outage. Waste of time.

TOH: I should be lucky enough to be hired for time spent hunting wild geese like that.

Coelit, I agree and we should talk more. But before you go... Think about all the things that could happen off camera.

Protests are fun until the reporters go home. Then the cops declare curfew and beat the hell out of whomever can't duck. Journalist gear used to be big and bulky and it was easier for cops to tell when all recording devices were gone. Since everyone has cell phones, cops can't get away with it as often.

Midterms that I didn't study for.

Not really a fml but it's still not that enjoyable.

Father was in hopsickle, fluid and irritation around heart, drained and fixed. Missed chemo. May have been his cancer. Discharged.

Father bounced back in to hopsickle today, shortness of breath again, can't find cause, heart is fine. Suspecting stomach or lung infiltration of cells. Throwing chemo at it immediately, seeing what sticks.

Doctors ruled out everything but cancer. Uncertainty sucks, yup it does

So, second type of cancer? Or is he at Stage 4 already?

No talk of stages, its multiple myleoma in the bone marrow, so it fucks around in a bunch of places, so it's probably just more in the stomach

I know how it feels to have a family member in and out of a hospital like that Pie. My dad had issues with his spine awhile back, spinal cord angeioma(?) and a hemmorage in one of his vertebrae. I really don't know exactly what it was, but he was in alot of pain, but he was still pretty lucky, the doctors said he wouldn't be able to walk again after each time, but now he walks everywhere.
