All the oil does is act like a big heatsink, you still need something to get rid of the heat. Sorry, but oil-cooling is just dumb, there are much better, more elegant solutions to cooling your system than oil. Ripped like paper raped with ease hey scrub nerd pyros suck on these

Oil-submersion cooling is just retarded.
Fluorinert-submersion cooling is awesome and a classic. I've personally been interested in looking into DIYing watercooling with my fulltower case, especially since it has plenty enough room to set up a full resevoir/radiator/pump combo above the power supply. My main concern is leakage, as I want a high-reliability system and leakage kinda defeats that. It's too bad fluorinert requires a lot of work to get. I mean a fuckton, wow. |

Now that you mention it, what beer would be the best for cooling a PC, I would suggest some American Lite beer, as those aren't fit to drink anyway. Signature temporarily out of order until I get off my lazy ass to fix it. |

Actually, I really could fry an egg on my XPS M1210. Just sitting on a desktop with something like say Folding running on a single core, the CPU/GPU both get up to ~85C (185F for us Americans). I have to prop the damn thing up on books, that usually manages to drop the temps 20-25C.
